MG6 by Millimetric Instruments

About this guitar

The MG6 was Millimetric’s original guitar design, inspired by Travis Bean and Obstructures instruments and voiced with the 1990s Chicago noise-rock scene (Shellac, Jesus Lizard) in mind. Its symmetrical double-cut shape means left-handed players get a guitar that looks correctly oriented, with excellent upper-fret access either way. The 25” scale gives it a tighter feel suited to heavier gauges and lower tunings. As with all Millimetric necks, it’s technically bolt-on but built to feel like a neck-through. Electronics sit behind the bridge to preserve the ambidextrous layout. Buyers choose their own wood, finish, and pickup combination from Millimetric’s in-house options.
