Vintage Artist
A mahogany dreadnought developed with Doc Watson to match the tone and playability of a pre-war D-18.
About this guitar
Developed in 1991 with input from Doc Watson and vintage-guitar experts to capture the most desirable qualities of the pre-war Martin D-18, the Vintage Artist uses an advanced scalloped X-brace with mahogany back and sides for a clear, well-defined tone with powerful bass.
