Burnside Head
Two-Rock's take on the classic wide-panel tweed circuit as a head, combining vintage touch sensitivity with modern reliability.
About this amp
The Burnside reworks the legendary wide-panel tweed circuit with a pair of 6L6 output tubes (28W), a GZ34 tube rectifier, and a 12AY7 preamp tube that can be swapped for a 12AX7 for extra gain. Its interactive Volume, Treble, and Bass controls behave like a vintage tweed amp, including the trombone-like low end at high Bass settings. Finished in bronze with cream lettering and pine (rather than birch) cabinets for a vintage feel. This is the head version, which pairs with a matching 1x12 cabinet loaded with Two-Rock’s TR12 speaker.
