About this amp
The Thunderman is Matchless’ bass amp, built around a pair of KT77 power tubes fed by a 12AX7 phase inverter for clean headroom and plenty of raw bottom end. A built-in compression circuit tightens up attack for backup lines and hard string slaps, and a 5U4G rectifier provides warm sag.
