Z-PLUS Head
A Joe Walsh collaboration: a true parallel single-ended Class A head using two 6V6 power tubes for full even-order-harmonic tone with more headroom than a typical single-ended design.
About this amp
Developed with Joe Walsh, the Z-PLUS is a parallel single-ended Class A design using two 6V6 power tubes in parallel (rather than push-pull) to preserve the full even-order-harmonic richness of single-ended amps while gaining the clean headroom a single tube can’t offer. A half-power switch drops one 6V6 out for more touch-responsive drive. Spring reverb, footswitchable boost, hand-wired.
