Quarzo Standard
Morifone's flagship solid-body electric, built to late-1950s single-cut construction methods — mahogany body and neck, carved figured-maple top, ebony fretboard, and the patented Aileron headstock.
About this guitar
The Quarzo is Morifone’s flagship model, built from mahogany with a 3/4” figured carved maple top following the construction methods of late-1950s single-cut electrics, updated with modern playability. It pairs a pair of Lollar pickups (humbucker or P-90-sized) with a push-push coil-splitting master tone control, an ABM wraparound or Tune-o-Matic bridge, and the patented Aileron headstock on a long-tenon mahogany set-neck. Available solid-body or weight-relieved. Hand-built to order at Morifone’s Boucherville, Quebec workshop.
