Spada Speciale
Morifone's stripped-down workhorse solid-body electric — built on the same mahogany frame as the flagship Quarzo, with the patented Aileron headstock and a triple-pickguard design.
About this guitar
The Spada Speciale is Morifone’s entry-level solid-body electric, sharing its mahogany body/neck platform and Aileron headstock with the flagship Quarzo but built to a simpler, more affordable spec. A triple-pickguard layout allows for a range of color/plastics combinations over the nitrocellulose finish, and the guitar ships with a pair of Fralin pickups (humbucker or P-90-sized) in a workhorse configuration built to hold up to heavy touring and playing. Every guitar is hand-built to order at Morifone’s Boucherville, Quebec workshop, with a range of hardware, pickup, and finish options selectable after ordering at no extra charge.
