S4 by Millimetric Instruments

About this guitar

The S4 grew out of a one-off body Millimetric built inspired by the Danelectro 1451, later developed into its own offset model drawing cues from the Explorer, Firebird, Danelectro Pro, and Ernie Ball St. Vincent. All-around bevels and a multiscale neck (27” low string / 25.5” high string) set it apart, favoring definition on lower tunings. Like every Millimetric model the neck is technically bolt-on but built and set up to feel like a neck-through. Buyers choose from Canadian-sourced body/neck woods and eco-friendly finishes, with in-house-made hardware (pickguard, bridge, knobs) and a range of house-designed pickups. Price includes a custom waterjet-foam hardshell case; shipping is extra.
