David Barber started Barber Electronics as a pedal company in 1997, but he was in the boutique world well before that. He built amps for Fenton and Budda starting in 1993 and sold modified Marshalls with Paul Reed Smith in the late '80s, just before his solid-state amp. The company builds overdrives, fuzzes and other pedals by hand in York, Pennsylvania.
