Andy Wood: Gearbox
A dual-drive box built with Andy Wood, pairing a tweaked Tumnus-style boost circuit with a modified Pinnacle drive in one footswitchable enclosure.
About this pedal
Gearbox stacks two of Brian Wampler’s best-known drive circuits — a tweaked Tumnus on one side and a modified Pinnacle on the other — voiced with guitarist Andy Wood so the pedal sounds dialed-in even with everything set around noon. A top-mounted order switch lets you choose which circuit hits your amp first, and dual inputs/outputs plus an onboard noise gate mean it can run as two fully independent drives or one stacked unit.
