El Capistan V2 Tape Delay
By Strymon
A vintage-style tape echo pedal offering three tape machine types, a sound-on-sound looper, and built-in spring reverb.
About this pedal
El Capistan V2 models three distinct vintage tape echo machine types, each with control over tape quality and machine ‘health’ — from a fresh, stable unit to a road-worn, fluctuating one — plus a sound-on-sound looper for building layered ambient textures. A built-in spring reverb algorithm can enhance the delay repeats or stand on its own, and the V2 adds full MIDI implementation with clock sync and 300 presets.
