EP Booster
A pure FET boost pedal that captures the pre-amp magic of the classic EP-3 tape echo, adding up to +20dB of shimmering, transparent gain.
About this pedal
The EP Booster is Xotic’s tribute to the famous EP-3 tape echo’s preamp stage, prized by generations of guitarists for its rich, musical character. Rather than coloring your tone, it adds clean, transparent gain with extra sparkle in the highs and lows. An internal 3-position DIP switch lets you dial in unity, vintage, or boosted voicings, and true bypass keeps the signal pure when the pedal is off. Runs on a 9V battery or optional AC adapter.
