Sputnik I: Silicon Fuzz
A silicon-transistor reissue of the original Sputnik circuit in a compact enclosure, trading germanium for silicon for extra gain and rock-solid stability.
About this pedal
Sputnik I returns the first Sputnik circuit to Spaceman’s lineup, now built with silicon rather than germanium transistors. The swap keeps the original’s warmth and texture while adding more unit-to-unit consistency and extra gain on tap, inside a smaller footprint than the original release.
