Volante Magnetic Tape Delay
By Strymon
Stereo multi-head delay recreating magnetic drum, tape, and reel-to-reel echo machines, plus spring reverb and Sound on Sound.
About this pedal
Volante models three vintage magnetic echo machines — drum echo, tape echo, and reel-to-reel studio echo — through four independent delay heads with individual level, panning, and feedback control. Adds a vintage spring reverb algorithm and a Sound on Sound looping mode, with controls for mechanics, wear, head spacing, and low cut to dial in exactly how “vintage” the repeats sound.
