Chihuahua Head
Head version of the Chihuahua, Allen's Class A practice-amp circuit loosely based on the black-panel Champ, with added reverb.
About this amp
The Chihuahua Head is a Class A single-ended circuit loosely based on the black-panel Fender Champ, beefed up with a bigger transformer set and power supply for use with a 6V6 or 6L6 power tube (switchable on the back for 6W or 10W), a tube-driven spring reverb with an extra gain stage for better overdrive, and a foot-switchable RAW control that goes from scooped blackface mids to a thicker tweed voicing.
