Hot Fudge Head
Head version of the Hot Fudge, Allen's take on the brown-era Fender Princeton (6G2) with a Deep switch and adjustable bias.
About this amp
The Hot Fudge Head is inspired by the brown-era Fender Princeton (6G2), enhanced with a Deep switch (adds a 50uF cathode bypass cap for a more Fender-ish low end versus the stock .68uF cap’s more Marshall-like voicing), adjustable fixed bias with rear measurement jacks, and a choke-filtered power supply. Hand-wired point-to-point on an aluminum chassis. No reverb or tremolo on this model.
