Custom Shop Vanderbilt 33
A 33-watt, 6L6-powered version of the Supreme 16 platform in the same portable head shell, tuned for more headroom and a fatter low end.
About this amp
The Vanderbilt 33 shares the Supreme 16’s control layout but swaps in a 2x6L6 power section (EL34 or 6V6 optional) with a GZ34 rectifier and a normalized EQ section rather than the S16’s Gibson/Vox-style EQ. The added headroom and larger power tubes let it cover Vox, tweed Fender, and Marshall-style tones, and it’s designed to pair with a 2x12 extension cab, ideally loaded with two Alnico Blues.
