Fuchs ODH Hybrid
Fuchs' first hybrid amp: a true tube ODS-style preamp driving a fan-cooled ICE Power module in a compact, ultra-portable head at an affordable price point.
About this amp
The ODH Hybrid pairs an all-tube ODS-style preamp, running at Fuchs’ True High Voltage, with a fan-cooled ICE Power module power section, in a head small enough to fit in a gig bag. A tube limiter stage clips the signal into the power module in a non-linear way before the module itself would clip, giving the amp a tube-like feel and sag despite its solid-state power amp. The clean channel uses the familiar 3-position brite, mid-boost, and EQ switches from Fuchs’ ODS-Classic amps; the overdrive channel adds input gain, output master, and an overdrive tone control. Onboard Spin digital reverb, a front-panel buffered effects loop, a line out, dual speaker jacks, and a subsonic filter round out the feature set. A 2-way footswitch handles channel switching and gain boost, with a 30-second mute timer on power-up.
