King Reverb Amp
A hand-wired replica of the 1964 AB763 Fender Super Reverb chassis, built to order as a 4x10, 2x10, or 1x15 combo with tube reverb and tremolo.
About this amp
The King Reverb is Headstrong’s take on the versatile AB763 tag-board circuit shared by the Super Reverb, Vibrolux Reverb, and Vibroverb — the speaker count, transformer, and mid-control change depending on configuration. It runs about 35-45 watts on a pair of 6L6GC tubes with two channels (Normal/Bright), tube reverb, and tremolo, fully hand-wired with a two-button footswitch. Lower-wattage transformers are available for the 2x10/1x15 builds, and it’s built to order as a combo or head. Alnico speaker upgrades and matching extension cabinets are available.
