About this amp
The Super Fifty-Nine M-80 combines the tone and gain stages of Magnatone’s MK I and MK II models into one 45-watt, EL34-driven amp, switchable between voices via front panel or the included footswitch. A tube-buffered effects loop and British-voiced tone stack (treble, middle, bass, presence) round out the control set. The same circuit is also sold in Slash’s Purple Python and Billy Gibbons’ Chrome Grape cosmetics.
