Acoustic Bass
An 18"-lower-bout acoustic fretless bass modeled on the Tinozza design, built to project an upright-bass-like tone with a K&K internal pickup for amplification.
About this guitar
The Acoustic Bass is Morgan Kelsey’s take on the R.M. Mottola Tinozza design: a large-bodied, 4-string fretless acoustic bass strung with real upright-bass strings for a fat, low-end tone that’s genuinely loud unplugged. The strings are fed through the lower bout into internal mahogany blocks to get the break angle those strings need, and a K&K Pure Bass pickup is built in for amplified use. Neck is removable and carbon-fiber reinforced, and every feature can be customized to the player.
