Thorn G/T by Thorn Guitars

About this guitar

The G/T is Thorn’s bolt-on offset-style model, offered solid or as a slim-line semi-hollow with an optional curly maple or koa top, in swamp ash, alder, Korina or Black Limba. It shares the SoCal C/S’s ‘Precision Lock’ dovetail lap joint, contoured heel and locking staggered tuners. Pickups are Thorn’s own and Ron Ellis units in various configurations, wired through volume, tone and a 3-way switch on a custom control plate, with a bridge choice spanning notched or chopped Traditional with Brass Knuckle, Thorn’s 1-piece tremolo, or a hardtail. Ivoroid binding and dot inlays keep the cosmetics understated. Finished in ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer with aging options, ships in a G&G hardshell case. Build-to-order — wood, hardware and finish choices are priced individually beyond the base price.
