1484 - Twin Twelve Pedal
A JFET-based, part-for-part recreation of the vintage Silvertone 1484 Twin Twelve amplifier, built into a pedal with an internal 9-to-18V boost for extra headroom.
About this pedal
The 1484 reproduces the Silvertone Twin Twelve amplifier’s exact schematic, swapping the original tubes for touch-sensitive JFETs. An internal power supply doubles the incoming 9V to 18V so the JFETs respond naturally to picking dynamics, and a soft-click true-bypass switch keeps the bypassed signal clean without a mechanical pop. Every unit is hand-assembled in a polished stainless-steel enclosure with custom-manufactured knobs modeled on the original amp’s chassis.
