The Clover Preamp/Boost expands on BOSS’s 1984 FA-1 FET Preamp with 3-band EQ, a Full EQ/No Mid/No EQ mode switch, a low-cut dip switch, and an XLR output for use as an acoustic or bass DI — functioning as anything from a transparent boost to a full tone-shaping preamp.
