Deco Tape Saturator & Doubletracker Plugin
By Strymon
A plugin that recreates the classic studio trick of running two tape decks in tandem for tape flanging, chorusing, and slapback, plus tape saturation.
About this pedal
Deco’s plugin models the interactive relationship between two tape machines — Reference and Lag decks — whose relative timing creates tape-style flanging, chorusing, echo, and double-tracking effects, the same technique used on classic Sun Studios and Abbey Road recordings. A separate Tape Saturation side adds tape compression and warm, tape-driven overdrive on top.
