About this pedal
Compadre pairs a Class-A JFET input with two VCA-based compression voicings — a smooth ‘Studio’ mode and a harder-hitting ‘Squeeze’ mode — alongside an independent boost circuit that switches between clean and soft-clipping dirty boost with selectable EQ voicing (treble/mid/flat). Auto makeup gain and auto threshold keep it simple to dial in, and an expression input adds VCA-based volume control.
