About this pedal
The Small CompROSSor is a reworked Ross compressor, the same lineage as the MXR Dyna Comp, in a small grey hammertone box with hand-stamped graphics. Analog Man fixed the originals’ high output impedance and out-of-phase output, and uses hand-tested transistors and new-old-stock CA3080E chips.
The current REV5 board has mix and attack trimpots inside, and either or both can be moved to external knobs. A RYCK toggle that adds treble is available too. It is hand wired, has true bypass and a standard power jack, and sounds best at 12 to 15V.
