Preamp MKII
An all-in-one drive, filter, and fuzz pedal built around the front-end circuitry of a Benson tube amp, with parametric mids and two selectable fuzz voicings.
About this pedal
Preamp MKII substitutes FET transistors for the 12AX7 triode stages of a Benson amp’s preamp, delivering responsive breakup with a parametric midrange section (adjustable routing and resonance) and two fuzz modes (Open and Gated), plus a choice of Silicon or Germanium clipping diodes. It runs on motorized faders with 30 internal presets and full MIDI/CV/expression control. Discontinued.
