Sun Bender MK-IV
By Analog Man
A blueprinted three-transistor Tone Bender MK-III/MK-IV with a tone knob, modeled on original Sola Sound, Colorsound and Vox units.
About this pedal
The Sun Bender MK-IV recreates the thin-case, three-germanium Tone Benders of the early 1970s. Analog Man worked from three originals they own. Unlike earlier MKI and MK-II models it has a tone knob that sweeps from thick to thin and trebly, and Analog Man suggests keeping it low.
Its voice is fatter and more saturated than the MK1.5. Options include transistor choices with vintage British Newmarket parts, a power jack, an LED, a battery-kill toggle and a less trebly tone setting for clean amps.
