Amphole is a one-person shop run by technician Robert Dixon in Burbank, California, repairing vintage tube amplifiers since 1996. The shop takes visits by appointment only and charges a flat hourly labor rate with a minimum bench fee per piece of equipment. Repairs typically take about four weeks, with rush options available for an added fee. It also sells vintage amps and guitars through an equipment list and its Reverb storefront.
