World of Music is a full-line music store in Erie, family owned since 1954. Its string technician, Ian, has decades of experience and handles guitar and fretted instrument repair from a simple restring to a broken headstock, usually in less than a week. The electronics bench works on amplifiers, pedals and speakers, from new tubes to a cleaning, with a $60 deposit and a turnaround of about one to two weeks. The shop also repairs band and orchestra instruments and drums.
