The 700W Half and Half pairs a hand-wired, high-plate-voltage tube preamp with a Class D power module scaling up to 700 watts, aiming to keep the character of a proper tube front end without shoehorning it onto a low-voltage circuit board. A rear-panel DI with XLR output and level control lets it run as a standalone tube preamp with EQ, and it’s safe to operate with no speaker attached. Available in Vanilla or Classic Black tolex.
