The head version of Milkman's flagship 85W amp, a high-headroom quad-6L6 design originally built for pedal steel.
About this amp
Originally designed for pedal steel and now equally popular with 6-string players, the 85W is Milkman’s flagship model. A quad of 6L6 output tubes conservatively rated at 85 watts can put out closer to 115, giving it enormous clean headroom, paired with a 3-knob tube reverb system. It’s hand-wired onto a turret board with custom Soursound transformers. This is the bare head.
