JG40
A limited-production tribute to a famous late-'70s JBL-loaded rig, built around Milkman's own reissue Alnico speaker.
About this amp
The JG40 grew out of a small run of amps built to capture a famous late-1970s JBL-speaker guitar tone, using original JBL drivers rebuilt for the project. Milkman later brought it into the regular lineup once its own faithful Milkman Alnico speaker reissue was finished. It’s a 40-watt Class AB circuit built around a pair of 6L6 tubes with adjustable grid bias, offered as a 12-inch combo with a choice of Milkman Alnico K120 (cloth edge), Alnico D120 (paper edge), or Ceramic E120 speaker. Production is limited given the time and cost involved, and Milkman notes custom head/cab configurations are available on request.
