Fuchs FBS-300 / FBS-700
A pair of ultra-compact, ultra-light solid-state bass heads inspired by the iconic Walter Woods amps, in 300W and 700W versions.
About this amp
The FBS-300 and FBS-700 are Fuchs’ solid-state bass heads, reverse-engineered and refined from the classic Walter Woods design that Andy Fuchs serviced for years. A solid-state preamp with a steep-slope subsonic filter feeds a modern ICE Power digital power module, giving each amp huge output in a chassis under 6 lbs. Controls include input gain for passive or active basses, Baxandall high/low tone, a fully parametric rotary midrange (with a flat setting at ‘0’), and an output master. A buffered patch loop sits between preamp and power amp, and a balanced DI output offers pre/post switching, ground lift, phase, and global mute. Worldwide auto-sensing voltage makes them travel-ready.
