Keeley Compressor Plus Germanium
Keeley's 25th-anniversary Compressor Plus, reworked with a germanium transistor in the output and side-chain circuits.
About this pedal
The Compressor Plus Germanium marks 25 years of Keeley’s compressor line. It keeps the familiar Level, Compression, Tone and Blend layout, but the circuit itself changes: a Japanese-style germanium transistor now sits in both the output stage and the compressor’s side-chain feedback path, which Keeley says gives it a different character from earlier Compressor Plus versions. Bypass switches between true and buffered, and it runs on 9 to 18 volts. It comes in brushed aluminum, with a Transparent Black finish sold only through Keeley’s own RKFX.com store.
