Kilobyte-2000
The flagship successor to Caroline's original Kilobyte lo-fi delay, pushing repeat gain harder with a new 'sharpness' control, tap tempo, trails bypass, and a dedicated effects loop.
About this pedal
The Kilobyte-2000 updates Caroline’s original 2013 Kilobyte lo-fi delay with an ‘invader’ repeater preamp that pushes gain on the repeats up to 5x harder while keeping the dry signal clean. A new sharpness control sets the gain range and voicing of that preamp. Tap tempo and trails bypass are onboard, along with subtle built-in modulation and an enhanced ‘Havoc’ runaway-hold effect with adjustable intensity. A dedicated effects loop lets players route other pedals into just the repeats, or take a fully wet output.
