Shigeharu
An IC fuzz with an on-demand parallel octave-up voice, designed with Electronic Audio Experiments for clarity and consistent performance anywhere in the signal chain.
About this pedal
Shigeharu combines op-amp and BC184 transistor gain stages for a Muff-style fuzz with added clarity, punch, and consistent behavior even after buffers or wireless units. A Havoc footswitch adds a parallel octave-up voiced fuzz on demand. Internal controls include a bias/gate control for spitty, broken textures and a switch that locks the octave effect on and converts the footswitch to a kill/mute. It was designed with input from John Snyder of Electronic Audio Experiments.
