Venus Recording
An 18-lb all-tube recording head with dual effects loops and an 11-band speaker-emulation EQ for miking-free direct-to-DAW tone.
About this amp
A 25-watt, 6V6-powered head built for direct recording without ever miking a cabinet. An 11-band EQ voiced across the guitar-speaker range can sit pre- or post-power-amp to emulate classic speaker voicings on the recording output, and two separate effects loops (pre- and post-power-amp) let delay/chorus and spatial effects sit in different places in the signal path. Also includes an Aux input for reamping or backing tracks, balanced and unbalanced outs, and a headphone output. At 18 lbs, it’s built for fly dates.
