Particle 2 - Granular Delay

By Red Panda

A granular delay and pitch-shifting pedal that chops the signal into grains and rearranges, shifts, and mangles them in real time, from shimmering repeats to time-stretch, stutter, and glitch textures.

Particle 2 - Granular Delay by Red Panda

About this pedal

Particle 2 applies granular synthesis to your signal in real time, with five delay modes (random, density, LFO, random pitch, reverse) and three pitch modes (detune, density, LFO) for everything from subtle pitch/delay modulation to radical time-stretched and glitched textures. Pitch shifts up to an octave with several quantization schemes, feedback can be recycled probabilistically or ping-ponged with random stereo panning, and an adjustable-threshold freeze function catches and holds notes. Stereo I/O, MIDI, tap tempo, and a web-based preset editor are included. Follow-up to the original 2011 Particle, the first granular delay pedal.
